This month, I'd like to take a break from the comparative spaces in thinking about Tibetan language framework and moving image, and process some thoughts and actions on creating access. For the past year I have been accompanied by Taja from SPA's program supported by Jerome Foundation and my partner Ali in writing and thinking about my access and value rider. The beginning months made clear in ways that I could define value(s), but remained uncomfortably unfamiliar with the capacity of care for oneself. It seems appropriate to share fragments of these processes, as I have come to a point where it feels impossible to participate in circulations of work and labour without being in relation with the space I ask for and the spaces others need, with the understanding that such sites are alive and changeable.
